	  	 Introduction

Alpha allows you to handle your email from within the Alpha application
(with some caveats). On MacOS, if you use the Eudora mail client,
Alpha provides a reasonably complete mail handling system,
communicating with Eudora by apple-events. If you do not use Eudora,
or if you are using Alphatk on Windows/Unix, you are currently limited
to very simple mail usage: but you can still compose and send email
from within Alpha/Alphatk.

	  	   Simple mail Interface

Allows you to Send email from within Alpha, using your system's
handling of 'mailto' urls to do the actual mailing.

	  	   tcllib mail Interface

Could eventually become a full-featured mail client, interacting
directly with your SMTP server through tcllib. Feel free to contribute
code.

	  	   Eudora and Eudora Pro Interface

This menu provides a simple interface to Eudora, providing the following
capabilities:

creation and queuing of mail messages
 opening of Eudora mail "mailboxes".
moving messages between mailboxes, including to Trash
intelligent replies, including quoting of original message
telling Eudora to send queued messages and check for new messages
automatic notification and summary of incoming messages

This "Mail Example" hyperlink will insert the Mail menu in the menu bar,
and demonstrate the use of the "New Message" menu item.
